Overview:
Supervision modules for battery management, AC management and management of other equipment such as inverters, fire alarms, climate units etc.
Supervision modules for battery management, AC management and management of other equipment such as inverters, fire alarms, climate units etc. By connecting the supervision modules to the site controller they can provide detailed information and alarms regarding the battery backup condition at the telecom site (SM BAT), the condition and status of the telecom site's AC supply and backup generator (SM AC), and the condition and status of auxiliary equipment such as climate units, inverters, building alarms etc (SM IO). Based on this information, site visits and maintenance related to the battery backup, the AC & standby generator and the auxiliary units can be optimized to save both time and money, especially for sites located remotely.
The Supervision Module for generic monitoring provides detailed information and alarms regarding the condition and status of auxilary equipment such as climate units or building alarms. Based on this information, site visits and maintenance related to the auxiliary units can be optimized to save both time and money, especially for sites located remotely.
The SM IO is an easy-to-install monitoring device connected to the advanced control unit (ACU) of the DC power system, and the auxiliary units it supervises. It is designed mainly for measuring alarms, voltages and temperatures.
The information and alarms, regarding the auxiliary units on a specific site, can be monitored or checked by means of a simple web browser or specific management software. No additional software is needed and the web browser login to monitor the site is password protected. (Examples of alarms provided by means of the control unit of the power system is specified in the datasheet and/or manual for the specific unit.)
